The Exeter Exiles pool tem play in the
APFSCIL Pool League. We play most months from September to May on a Tuesday or Thursday evening, with home games played at the Coach and Horses pub near Fleet Street. There is also a summer cup to keep us on form during the close
season. Matches are played in a best of nine frames format, consisting
of six singles and three doubles games. In the 2009/10 season, we finished with a record
of six wins from our seven
games and sit on top of the league with, at the time of writing, a few other matches still to be
played before knowing our
fate.
Key players include captain Giles Beattie and vice
Captain and Exiles Travel Officer Neil Le Milliere, with a healthy squad boosted
by the talents of regulars Jim Shepherd, Dave Painter, Roger Pyne, Dan Hill and
Greg Cooke. You can read a little more about the Exiles pool team's history here. We are always keen to welcome City bauys to
the green baize. For further details please email Giles Beattie. |
