Our Adam

Ever since the site launched, we have displayed the following message in this box. "City striker Adam Stansfield is currently fighting bowel cancer. Thousands of Grecians and football fans everywhere are thinking of you Adam. We're with you, and your family, every step of the way." Adam died on 10 August. Adam will remain in our hearts forever, and we will remain with his family every step of the way. RIP Adam x

Exiles Pool

The Exeter Exiles pool tem play in the APFSCIL Pool League. We play most months from September to May on a Tuesday or Thursday evening,  with home games played at the Coach and Horses pub near Fleet Street. There is also a summer cup to keep us on form during the close season.

Matches are played in a best of nine frames format, consisting of six singles and three doubles games.

In the 2009/10 season, we finished with a record of six wins from our seven games and sit on top of the league with, at the time of writing, a few other matches still to be played before knowing our fate.

Key players include captain Giles Beattie and vice Captain and Exiles Travel Officer Neil Le Milliere, with a healthy squad boosted by the talents of regulars Jim Shepherd, Dave Painter, Roger Pyne, Dan Hill and Greg Cooke.

You can read a little more about the Exiles pool team's history here.

We are always keen to welcome City bauys to the green baize. For further details please email Giles Beattie.
